The course follows Decoding Russian (and Russia)-1 and is open to students who have completed that course and to anyone with previous experience with Russian. The decoding process will involve aphorisms as before and will move to work with excerpts from Russian Literature. We will explore basic Russian grammar using the text: Znamensky, Conversational Russian and use it and Russian art of the 19th and early 20th centuries as subject matter for conversation.
