We will read, discuss and compare three classic crime stories and their film adaptations from the golden age of American crime fiction: Laura, by Vera Caspary, Double Indemnity, by James M. Cain and Build My Gallows High, by Geoffrey Homes (Film adaptation title "Out of the Past"). We will also be viewing the three films.
