
Healthy Ethnic Cooking II

Description:
Students will prepare classic recipes from Germany, Italy, China, Quebec, Spain and Portugal. Recipes have been revised to eliminate unhealthy ingredients. Students will learn and practice basic culinary techniques, then eat what they have prepared. There will be a session on the choice and care of cutlery assisted by Lance Funderburk. Wear comfortable shoes. Bring your own aprons and hand towels. Be prepared to help wash dishes and help pack instructor’s van following
each lesson.
Instructor: Anne Funderburk has an A.B. (1960) from Bryn Mawr. She did graduate study at U. Cal. Berkeley and was a research associate in Zurich. She is a teacher of various subjects. She gave cooking classes in PA, and has taught ASC Healthy Ethnic Cooking I and II since 2004.
