Description:
The first two sessions of this course will set facts on fundamentals: Islam the Faith and Islam as a Legal System. The third session, “Islam as a Political System,” will introduce both theory and the example of the Ottoman Empire, a topic developed in sessions four and five. The sixth session will take up Iran and the Resentment against the West; the final session will be on Jihadism.
