This class is an exploration of Kim - the Northwest Frontier, the Great Game of espionage, the love of a boy of one race for an old lama of another and the pageantry of the Raj. It includes the culture of the Pathans of Afghanistan, and the controversial life of Rudyard Kipling, the youngest
person and the first writer in English to win a Nobel Prize for Literature.
