Music of the Romantic Era, Part I

Description:

We will continue our survey of western music beginning with late Beethoven through Brahms. We will listen to some of the best-loved composers of all time including the above-named, Schubert, Rossini, Liszt, Verdi, Wagner, Berlioz, Chopin and Mendelssohn and some you never heard of.


Instructor: Robert Gallon is a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist who also happens to play tuba in the Bangor Symphony Orchestra. He taught psychology at Vassar College and at Jefferson Medical School. He has taught many courses in psychology and music at ASC and at Penobscot Senior College.
