Learn how to give the gift of listening. This team-taught course will give you the tools, experience, and confidence necessary to celebrate special life stories by recording interviews. You’ll view selected interviews to learn from examples; review island history and oral histories collected to date; learn how to ask great questions; conduct interviews in the field; find out how to preserve and share recordings, along with many other techniques for taking effective oral histories. Whether you intend to record your own family stories, or to preserve the personal histories of prominent MDI personalities, this is the course for you.
