Description:
Pilates is a foundational exercise system that focuses on the ‘core’ of the body which encompasses most of the mass around the spinal column and pelvic girdle. Through deep therapeutic movements, the body can relearn and realign itself to be stronger, more balanced, with increased flexibility. Find more expansive capacity of movement, decreased pain and stiffness, greater stability for injury prevention and a higher sense of energy and vitality through this simple and profound training.
Instructor: Anastasia Baratta has a BA in Education, Northern Arizona University, (1994), and Pilates Certification from Kane School of Core Integration, NYC, NY, (2009). She is a Life Coach - Coaching for Transformation (2008). She says: “I am constantly researching, studying or taking workshops. My most recent workshop, “Pilates and Back Care,” detailed common back-related issues and injuries and how to address them through Pilates-based exercises.”
