Description:
This course will introduce participants to the origins of comedy, as a theoretical basis for the discussion of three of Shakespeare’s comedies: A Midsummer Night’s Dream, As You Like It, and Twelfth Night. Participants will read the three plays carefully and participate in lively, informative, and entertaining discussions in class.
