Special Croquet Clinic for Maine Senior College Members

Location: The Woodlawn Museum (The Black House), on the Surry Road in Ellsworth

Time: 1:00 to 3:00 pm

Description:The new Woodlawn croquet court - Maine's largest - opened last summer.
We will play golf croquet - an instantly learned easy version of the game. (The more popular types of croquet - 6 and 9 wicket, will come in time for those who wish to pursue the game.)
If curiosity piques, join us in the sylvan setting of the Woodlawn Museum for two hours
of relaxed instruction and a new little world. Who knows what awaits! There is no charge. Reservations are required. (please email, or call ASC office, 288-9500 to reserve a space)

Curling!

Location: Belfast Curling Club, Belfast, Maine

Description: A hardy group of ASC members met once a week for the snowy journey to Belfast Curling Club. The winter weather proved a challenge, but could not deter these hardy souls. There are plans to form a group of curlers in winter of 2009, so stay tuned!
