Carolyn Gage
Carolyn Gage moved from Portland to Southwest Harbor in 2016, realizing a long-cherished dream of living on the island. She holds two degrees in Theatre Arts, and has taught classes at Bates College and the University of Southern Maine. A professional playwright, she has written more than eighty plays focusing on the lives of famous women, especially lesbians, whose stories have been erased, forgotten, or misrepresented.
